Weather Policy

At Scentaments Designs Flowers & Gifts, we carefully monitor weather conditions to protect the quality of every flower arrangement, gift, and delivery.

Fresh flowers and certain gift items are naturally affected by heat, cold, moisture, and sunlight. While we take every reasonable precaution during transportation, weather conditions after delivery are outside of our control.

Delivery During Inclement Weather

The safety of our customers and delivery team always comes first.

Deliveries may be delayed, rescheduled, or temporarily suspended due to:

• Severe thunderstorms

• Tornado warnings

• Flooding

• Snow or ice

• Hazardous road conditions

• High winds

• Any weather event that creates unsafe driving conditions

If delays occur, we will communicate with customers as soon as reasonably possible.

Heat & Cold Exposure

Fresh flowers and chocolates should be brought indoors promptly after delivery.

Once a delivery has been completed, Scentaments Designs is not responsible for product deterioration caused by:

• Direct sunlight

• High outdoor temperatures

• Freezing temperatures

• Rain

• Snow

• Wind

• Excessive humidity

• Extended time left outdoors

 

Chocolate Care

Although we transport chocolates with care and make every effort to preserve their quality during delivery, chocolate is naturally sensitive to heat.

If chocolates remain outside after delivery, melting may occur.

If chocolates appear melted, damaged, or have been exposed to excessive heat after delivery, we recommend that they not be consumed.

Fresh Flower Care

Flowers are living products and naturally change over time.

For maximum vase life, recipients should:

• Bring flowers indoors promptly.

• Add fresh water if applicable.

• Keep flowers away from direct sunlight and heating vents.

• Follow any care instructions included with the arrangement.

 

Force Majeure

Scentaments Designs shall not be liable for delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, road closures, utility failures, or other unforeseen events.
